high school football coaches receive all kinds of praise and criticism. some have criticized Coach Teague for various things when they don't know what they're talking about. As a bit of a Ram inside, i'll say this, with all the pressures teague has had this week, thursday epitomized what the man is all about. here he is in the middle of state championship week when he stops his hectic schedule to drive three students in the RHS FCA to deliver Christmas Cheer packages to needy families. people don't see that and don't know that. but, teague is more than a football coach. he's another parent to these kids and he demands they learn to stand on their own two feet. a lot of people fail to see his work with 1st baptist church and zion baptist church each week in helping RHS students get tutoring and a good meal. those who criticize have no idea what really goes on behind the scenes. it isn't just football, it's life and Coach Teague has always gone above and beyond in helping mold our young men into good people and good football players. what the kids do with these lessons is up to them. good luck this weekend and, fans, count your blessings we have a man like Coach Teague. God has truly blessed this community with Jimmy, his family, and his coaching staff.
